I'm Ansley, the owner (and only employee!) behind Sweet Bean Embroidery!

I'm a wife to my middle school sweetheart, mama to two sweet babies, and the girl behind every single stitch that leaves this little business. If you've ever messaged Sweet Bean, you've been talking to me!

Before starting Sweet Bean Embroidery, I was a teacher and loved it SO much, but I just knew it wasn’t where I needed to be. I've always loved creating, whether it was planning fun lessons, singing with my students, or now designing and stitching embroidered pieces that families can treasure for years to come!

My sewing and embroidery journey began during one of the sweetest and most uncertain seasons of our lives. After finding out we were expecting our first baby, Lilly, I wanted to learn embroidery and sewing so I could make one-of-a-kind things just for her! Early in my pregnancy, though, we were told we might lose her several different times. During those difficult months, during every ultrasound holding our breath and praying, our tiny little “Bean” was somehow still there and thriving! By God's grace, she continued to grow, and that little nickname became a constant reminder of those moments and His faithfulness. When it came time to name my business, there was no question what it would be. Sweet Bean Embroidery is named after the little girl who inspired it all! To this day, she is still our “Bean”! 

What started as a simple "this might be fun to try" quickly turned into the business I'd always dreamed of. Today, every order is designed, stitched, packaged, and shipped by me from my home studio in Newnan, Georgia, usually with an embroidery machine humming in the background and the Bean herself trying to “help”. 

When I'm not stitching, I'm spending time with my family, serving at church, cheering on fellow small businesses, or finding little ways to add creativity to everyday life!
